About

This blog is designed to act as a pedagogical space for Justin Hodgson’s W350 Courses. It is, in all respects, an extension of our classroom environment and classroom practices.

Our approach to this course will be to work primarily from a games perspective. The course is one that focuses on games, in which students play games, and in which the course itself is designed as a game. It adopts a gaming pedagogy built on “teaching the paradigm”–a design/approach I have articulated elsewhere.
Dr. Justin Hodgson is an Assistant Professor in the English Department at Indiana University. He is also the Founding Editor and current General Editor of The Journal for Undergraduate Multimedia Projects (TheJUMP).
