Level 4

Level 4 assignments are designed to continue to extend the engagements students have started in earlier levels. Some assignments, like Digital Narrative and Game(r) Guide are oriented around not only written text, but the critical integration of text and image for expository purposes. The What Makes… assignments are meant as preliminary work for later assignments, helping ensure students understand the criteria, tendencies, genres, and audience expectations of good podcasts, games, and alternate reality games. The remaining assignments at this level are designed to further student-engagement of course content and game-based experiences.
